ABC’s of BMPs
A half-day class on the basics of erosion and sediment control, best management practices and controls for erosion, sediment, and pollution prevention as well as how to inspect the devices and controls.

Construction Site Inspections
A full day class on how to inspect for stormwater compliance. It covers what to inspect and how to inspect. It looks at many of the different best management practices available for erosion, sediment and pollution prevention and covers where to use and where not to use them.

How to Prepare a Compliant
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
A full day class that covers the construction general permit requirements, what should go into a SWPPP, design aspects of many best management practices (BMPs), and how to update and keep the SWPPP current.

How to Maintain and Update the SWPPP
This 4 hour workshop will walk you through examination of a SWPPP to make sure all the parts and pieces are there and it is compliant with the Construction General Permit.  We will then walk through a mock construction activity filling out forms, doing inspections, marking up the site map, keeping track of all BMPs on site as well as paperwork.  We will learn to produce a sequence of construction that works and keep track of all earth disturbing activities.  This class is an advanced class for inspectors, designers and general contractors who prepare the SWPPP or work on the site and are in charge of the SWPPP requirements.

Post Construction Stormwater Inspections
This is a beginning to intermediate full day course for those who want to gain information on how to inspect stormwater features after construction when they are operational.  It will guide you through the proper protocol of doing an inspection.  We will discuss the tools and equipment you need and how to collect the information.  The class will also go into detail on different pond types, how they are built and how they function.
